Bencom d.o.o. currently operates in Herceg Novi, Tivat, Kotor, Budva, and Podgorica, with over 70 highly qualified employees, partners, and distributors. Our services are utilized by more than 1,000 clients across various industries, ranging from micro and small to medium and large companies.

  • 1990.

    We started our accounting practice in a small room at home, keeping records on paper.

  • 1992.

    We bought our first computer, marking the beginning of automation

  • 1994.

    The decision was made to establish the company “Bencom” doo

  • 1995.

    The Bencom office officially started operating at 3 Sima Matavulja Street.

  • 1996

    Another office opened in Igalo, in the Polić house.

  • 1997

    The office in Herceg Novi expanded, and we relocated to Njegoševa Street, which brought more space and an increase in staff.

  • 1997

    Bencom Ltd. expanded its operations beyond accounting services to include the provision of legal services.

  • 1998

    The management acquired additional knowledge and certifications for certified accountants, auditors, lecturers, as well as internationally recognized licenses.

  • 1997-2005

    The number of clients increased to 150, which also increases the number of employees, many of whom begin their careers through internship training.

  • 2005 i 2006

    High interest from foreign investors in starting businesses in Montenegro resulted in a significant increase in the number of clients.

  • 2007

    Bencom’s management makes a strategic decision to invest in the construction of a business center that consolidates all departments and employees in one location.

  • 2007

    Through effective and efficient organization, the Bencom Business Center was built in Igalo at 19 Prizrenska Street, covering an area of 650 m², where we continue to operate today with 40 colleagues at that location

  • 2008

    The number of clients increased to 300, and the management establishes a business unit in Podgorica due to the increased interest from clients in that area.

  • 2008

    Management made the decision to establish a branch in Podgorica, where 5 colleagues were employed, with part of the office dedicated to legal work directly related to CRPS.

  • 2009

    Decision to develop our own software, Abacus was made.

  • 2010

    Bencom Ltd. Herceg Novi established Bencom Belgrade in the Republic of Serbia, opening an office in the city center to provide accounting services.

  • 2011

    Due to the business expansion in Porto Montenegro, and the subsequential increase in the number of clients, we opened an office in Tivat.

  • 2011

    After developing the software, we transitioned to data processing in the Abacus system, which was launched the same year with minimal functionalities.

  • 2011

    Presentations of the Abacus software were launched in several Montenegrin cities, as well as in Belgrade, where a growing number of our clients started using this system.

  • 2013

    The office in Budva was opened, expanding our presence along the coast.

  • 2014

    A decision was made to develop a specific module within the Abacus BIS for the hospitality sector

  • 2015

    Development began on the hotel reception module, which was quickly noticed by potential users, leading to a rapid expansion of the client base.

  • 2015

    We signed a collaboration agreement with POS4me, granting them distribution rights for all Abacus modules.

  • 2014 – 2015

    Alongside the previously mentioned developments, we were also developing other modules for production, marinas, and Abacus web reporting.

  • 2018

    We opened an office in Kotor, continuing our expansion.

  • 2019

    Interest from competing accounting firms in Abacus ERP grew, resulting in numerous successful collaborations.

  • 2020

    The Institute of Certified Accountants of Montenegro started using the complete Abacus BIS for managing its operations, training and educating accountants.

  • 2020+

    Over the years, the number of employees has increased in proportion to the number of clients.

  • 2021

    We opened an office in Bar, expanding our services in this part of Montenegro.

  • 2024

    Total number of clients since the beginning surpassed 1700, with over 700 current clients, 70 employees and 2300 Abacus licenses.

    I am happy and proud to have been with Bencom d.o.o. since the very beginning, when the accounting agency first opened. Each year, the number of employees grew, and the range of services offered expanded. Looking back, I see many wonderful years of successful business and continuous progress. Many young, educated, and ambitious people, along with experienced older colleagues, have contributed to making the company what it is today. I am especially pleased with the youngest members of the team, who bring innovations and lead the company toward even greater success.
